On September 27th, the Optimist Club of Oakville held its 38th Annual Shrimpfest! Radius representatives joined in the fun and were full of gratitude (and shrimp!) for the club’s ongoing support. Radius received a portion of the proceeds from this year’s Shrimpfest. Thank you to the Optimist Club of Oakville for being champions for local children, youth and families!
The mandate of the Optimist Club of Oakville is to help children and youth in Oakville. To accomplish that, they hold several events throughout the year including the annual Shrimpfest Gala at the end of September; they sell Christmas trees in December, and volunteer at Delta Bingo in Oakville. They want to have fun helping organizations that help kids by volunteering at their events and providing financial support. Without their dedication to local organizations in Oakville, including Radius, we would not be able to provide the services we do! Thank you!
