Dear Radius Clients and Caregivers,
This month marked 2 years since our offices closed for the pandemic and our pivot to virtual service. We know this has been an extremely difficult time for many of the clients and families we serve, as well as for our therapists and staff. Thank you for the continued opportunity to provide support to you and/or your family member.
As the province and municipalities adjust COVID protocol guidelines, we would like to advise you of the steps Radius is taking in our efforts to continue to provide a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment for our staff and clients.
- Pre-Appointment Screener – the pre-appointment screener will no longer be sent out in advance of on-site appointments. Alternatively, we ask that clients and attending parties self-screen at home and not attend on-site if you have symptoms of a contagious illness (fever, coughing, sneezing, muscle ache, unusual fatigue or lethargy) or if you or anyone in your home have tested positive for COVID-19 in the previous 10 days. Virtual service will be offered, if appropriate;
- Masking – please continue to participate in masking while on-site. You will be provided with your choice of disposable mask upon entering the office and may select the mask type you feel most comfortable in. Cloth masks must be replaced by disposable masks. Given the length of our typical client appointments, the close nature of contact, and the necessity of closed-door spaces for privacy, we request continued masking for the time being. We are all looking forward to a time when this precaution is no longer needed!
